Some Conservative Media Pegged Palin

Comments

I'm not a conservative nor a Republican, but when McCain picked Palin as his running mate, I wondered what had happened to his powers of judgment. If the man wanted to pick a woman, then surely there were many Republican women vastly more qualified to choose from. I'm thinking that he either didn't really want to win or that the more qualified female candidates turned him down, which obliged him to scrape the bottom of the barrel by choosing Palin.
Interesting post. The criticism launched by Republicans against Sarah Palin may say more about the state of the Republican Party than Sarah Palin.

The conservatives mentioned previously in this post picked as their favorite, John McCain. He is probably the most liberal Republican in the Senate. Thus, the Republican Party elites will not allow a true conservative into their club of RINOs. And, I predict the Republican elites will continue to bash Sarah Palin, because they do not want her to run again in 2012. Thus, they will try to damage her as much as possible.

Just imagine if the Republicans would have nominated a candidate for President who had the following qualifications: One term Senator, Belonged to a racist church for 20 years, had a close friend who was a terrorist, represented and worked for voter fraud experts ACORN, wrote two books that bashed European Americans and wrote about his comtempt for American race relations.

Too late, the aforementioned is now President Obama. Wonders never cease.
Personally, I think Palin should hold off on a presidential election run until she's spent some time in the Senate. It's important to realize that there is far more to being president than executive experience, just as there's more to it than experience in national politics. Palin has plenty of time and she should take that time to shore up her weaknesses. State government is not like national government, and having an expertise in it is a bit like having expertise in one field of medical science while knowing almost nothing about the general practice.

Another View: Both Senator Clinton and Governor Palin has more experience than President-Elect Obama. And, much of what is known about Obama and his associates is cause for concern. This is not a conservative or socialist (what you in error call liberal) view. That just the way it is. Only a very partisan person can not, or will not, understand what is very plain to some. If you truly wanted some factual insight; you would read her own words or go by actual records. It's not like they are hard to find, like the past of President-Elect Obama.

Opinion: "Both sides are trying to kill Governor Sara Palin." Bill Orielly - Nov. 12, 2008 - is his comment worth more or less than any other talking head or partisan hack?

Libertine.

Understand that having experience running a state is not anywhere near the same thing as having experience running an entire country. Calling it "more experience" is a joke... as is pretending that Obama and McCain have more experience by being Senators. And ultimately, an understanding of national politics is going to get you a lot further in getting what you want to happen done... unless you plan to be a jerk like Bush and demand that everyone do things your way because you're in charge. Not productive.

All of them need to work on their weakenesses, but honestly? Palin needs it the most.

As for both sides going after Palin, no surprise there. She's gone great lengths to alienate her own party in Alaska and partisanship rules the roost.

Welcome to my blog, I'm a Conservative Alaskan....... There are many articulate writers, who have done their research and got it right! By the content I choose to post, it's obvious I want to reveal and continue to remind the nation that there are many like Palin who are uneducated, devisive and unethical. Unfortunately some call themselves conservative, that's where the problem begins. Most of the articles posted here are what I consider the 'BEST of the WEB' in that area. Most articles are authored by columnists and bloggers. The subject is usually consistent with my point of view. Just providing another place for some great thought!
